Welcome Spring with Mother’s Day crafts during the first week of May. On May 5 travel through the land of sweets as we play a life-sized game of Candyland through the children’s room. We will also romp, stomp and roar into summer on May 11 with a dinosaur preschool party. An art show featuring decorated and altered bicycles will take place at the West River branch on May 13.

Teachers

Tours, storytimes, and group visits may be scheduled for school classes, scout groups, day cares, and parent groups. To schedule a visit, please call EPLS staff at least three weeks in advance.

Early Literacy

Our children's rooms are full of wonderous adventures waiting to be explored by your little ones. We want to help build the skills your child needs to be ready for school by working with them to develop early literacy and learning skills, such as talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.

Homework Help

Stop in for a quiet area and large tables to get your homework completed. Use our online research tools.

Cards & Computers

The children's Room computers are just for kids! You'll need a student ID or library card to sign on. Don't have a library card? We have a Children's 3 for ME card for kids under 12.
